Editing my review as we went back to give this place another shot and Ryan really outdid himself. The drinks were 10/10. We got the smoked old fashioned and the blackberry cobbler. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish - we really enjoyed our drinks and the vibes in there are immaculate. The music they play is a vibe too and they do dj nights on weekend we heard. We will be back! Thank you for a great experience!

We checked out The Velvet Swan for the first time tonight. Some bars don’t allow outside food. As soon as we walked in and were greeted we let them know we had some leftover food but would leave it in the bag. They let us know we are welcome to eat it since they aren’t serving food yet. Their menu said some light bar food is coming soon. We didn’t eat, but it was nice to know we could have if we wanted. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. There is table Service, and a server came over right away. You can pay by the drink or put a card down to start a tab. There is a QR code menu that has some outstanding sounding drinks. We went with some classics (old fashioned and Moscow mule) to get started and browsed the menu. I saw some drinks I look forward to trying when we return. The drinks were brought to the table by the server (no standing in line). They were tasty and the serving size was plentiful. We were there ahead of the crowd they were expecting for their live music, so it was not crowded at all. We enjoyed the music that was playing over the speakers. The chairs were super comfortable and overall the atmosphere seemed relaxed, but the decor was classy. We enjoyed ourselves

We had an amazing time at the grand opening of The Velvet Swan! Staff was well put together and communicative about drinks on the menu and possible wait times (as they had amazing turn out, they were busy!). Drinks all came out amazing and the execution of their Whiskey Sour was a great touch. Even when we requested something particular (like a member of our party wanted something fruity but not quite bubbly), the drink was still perfect! Pricing is fair, and the vibes were so great. Music wasn’t too loud, lighting was just bright enough to see each other but still get a good lounge vibe. Would recommend if you’re in the area! Even the bouncer was great!

We had a nice experience at The Velvet Swan. Our server/bartender, Rose, was very friendly and helpful. She offered some great suggestions on what drinks to order. We all had two drinks each and thoroughly enjoyed each one. I've never had an espresso martini made with tequila before and was a little skeptical, but it was really good!

This bar was really impressive! We immediately noticed an elegant, classy atmosphere that feels both upscale and welcoming. The bartenders are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about their work, making our visit a wonderful experience. One of my favorite things is the creative drink menu, featuring unique cocktails with fun names inspired by Lakeland and the drinks are beautiful! The owners are some of the sweetest people you'll meet. The location is very convenient when you're out and about downtown. Highly recommend!
